I have had the privilege of being in the banking, marketing communications, and design industries. Working in these industries has enabled me to realize my creativity, connect with people at all levels and develop new businesses. Even as I mature, I am still tenacious and driven and like to be productive until I cannot.
I sold my marketing communications agency in 2015 to become a full-time caregiver for my late mother who passed away in late 2016. Since 2017, I have been doing volunteer work in addition to engaging in ad-hoc projects that are in line with my interests and passion. I am currently the Chairman of the Building Committee with the Church⛪ of the Holy Family in Singapore. This is a 4-year project and is divided into three phases; we are currently in the third and final phases. I oversee the building redevelopment and construction project of the Church to ensure its completion in a result-oriented manner. The new Pastoral Centre will meet its current needs and future infrastructural needs in a well-planned way. I am also currently taking up an Advanced Certificate in Sustainability and Sustainable Businesses at the Singapore Management University (SMU) scheduled to be completed in March 2020.
Over the years I have learned the following having the good fortune of having great mentors:
1️⃣ My entrepreneurial experience in two start-ups, namely Atomz I! Pte Ltd and Aught Pte Ltd.
2️⃣ My extensive experience in business development has been honed throughout my career, enabling me to be highly resourceful and effective in developing new connections.
3️⃣ My proven problem-solving skills are required in all the industries that I have been in as this is essential to effective team management and building relationships.
4️⃣ My strong ability to cultivate relationships with business partners and collaborate with them to achieve required results.
5️⃣ My ability to work as a team as well as independently when required which was developed further as a business owner.
My story continues as I am on the lookout for my next collaboration and look forward to finding this next milestone.
